Céline Dion, a well-known celebrity who continues to suffer with her health, has announced that she is postponing her entire planned world tour. She posted on Twitter, “I’m very sorry to disappoint all of you once again…

Fans of Celine Dion first learned worrisome news last year when the iconic singer revealed she had been diagnosed with a rare neurological condition.

Dion revealed that she had a “one in a million” ailment called stiff-person syndrome, a degenerative nervous system disorder that affects the brain and spinal cord and can lead to excruciating spasms and restrict mobility, in a moving video shared with followers on Instagram.

Although the disease is incurable, symptoms can be managed.

Many of Dion’s fans are aware of her problems with muscle spasms, which led her to postpone her North American tour dates in January. Dion has announced the cancellation of her upcoming 42-date tour due to what appears to be continuing health problems. The well-known artist shared on social media how saddened she was by the choice.

”I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again… and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything until I’m really ready to be back on stage… I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!” she said.

Since that statement, Dion has kept a quiet profile, but her sister Claudette has offered updates on her health and expressed optimism.

“I am confident that life will give her back what she gave because she is an extremely intelligent woman, so very generous and talented and in love with life as well,” Claudette said to the Le Journal de Montreal.

“Rather than crying over her fate, I try to send her positive vibes in the hope that one day she will go back on stage.”

One month after recently releasing a new song, Dion has updated her health status. She debuted an official lyric video for “Love Again,” the title song to a movie of the same name that was released on May 12, April.

She is the recipient of five Grammy Awards, including those for Album and Record of the Year. The highest-earning residency in music history is her previous Las Vegas performance residency.
